Regal’s latest upmarket Hartland holiday lodge comes with a rather nice luxury master bedroom
Since Regal emerged back in 2009 we’ve been impressed by the holiday caravans they’ve produced over the years. Never ones to shout from the rooftops, Regal tend to get on with their business quietly.
Models such as the Regal Hartland are single unit lodges yet they offer plenty of living area and practical space. Regal stage the Hartland as a luxury lodge and we would go along with that. The exterior looks modern and the Hartland has large French doors at the front and a central side door. There’s full guttering of course and a galvanised chassis plus full all round insulation. Cladding is in vinyl tough finish and there’s an option of colour choices.
At a touch short of £80,000 the 42 ft x 14 ft Regal Hartland does have that luxury feel as you enter. The lounge area is quite compact but also cosy. It doesn’t feel cramped and the lounge is a comfortable space with a twin seater settee (pull out bed) and two single armchairs, plus wall mounted shelves and fireplace with electric fire and corner unit for the TV.
The lounge just has one side window but it‘s a full portrait design so allows in plenty of natural light. Quant wall lights adds to the “cottage” ambience of the Hartland’s lounge area at night.
For dining, the table and four chairs are placed central in the kitchen area, and here there’s a fitted fridge/freezer and very handy food storage cupboard.
The kitchen area is very practical, with plenty of work surface and appliances’ such as microwave, range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, equipped as standard. With mains sockets/USB points and good night lighting it’s a well designed area.
The Regal Hartland has two bedrooms and two shower rooms as well. From the kitchen the twin room is on your left with the main bathroom opposite.
The twin bedroom is a good size for a single lodge, though that 14ft width does help here. There’s plenty of storage, with wall mounted storage lockers above the bed, plus a small central bed cabinet.
The corner placed wardrobe isn’t overly large and there’s a large mirror opposite the beds with radiator below. It works well and again several mains sockets mean you won’t be short of charging points.
The main bathroom area opposite the twin room comes with plenty of cupboard storage and shelving and a good sized walk-in shower.
But step into the master bedroom and the luxury feel of the Regal Hartland really hits you, with its built in seat between the twin wardrobes and the king-sized bed complete with upholstered bulkhead at the bottom of the bed which is wired up for a TV, which can then be lowered out of sight when not in use -clever!
It’s a spacious bedroom with a decent built in dressing table with plenty of storage as well as general space.
There’s twin side bed drawers and above the bed a pair of slim windows. The en-suite which is well appointed and comes with storage but less than the main bathroom.

Verdict: The Regal Hartland is a well-appointed lodge from a smaller manufacturer which adds a personal touch to its homes. Quality and finish are hard to fault and the Hartland is a lodge with plenty of spec. You won’t see many Regal holiday homes around and that’s because they seem to be a well-kept secret!
Plus points: Excellent master bedroom, good kitchen area.
Minus points: Lounge for some may feel a little compact
In a nutshell: The Regal Hartland lodge is nice and cosy with a mix of traditional and modern design features. This luxury lodge makes clever use of space and storage throughout.
