The Swift Bordeaux static caravan has a classical open plan layout and fine styling touches. With plenty of storage and an excellent living space, this is a great holiday caravan!
The entrance to the Swift Bordeaux brings you straight into the kitchen area, with the dining table to your left and the U-shaped kitchen in front of you.
Greys, whites and pine are the first colour notes you notice and the pale marble effect worktop is the second. The closer you look, in fact, the more details you will see – from the white gloss tile backing in the kitchen to the thin brass strip handles for the cupboards and drawers.
And there is so much kitchen squeezed into a small footprint that you’ll be amazed at the storage.
When we say ‘small footprint’ you might think we mean the kitchen is small. But, far from it, using space cleverly is the Swift way and this U-shaped kitchen does exactly that.
There’s plenty of surface space, a large sink, fitted microwave, fridge-freezer and slimline dishwasher.
All five cupboards above the kitchen work surface have white frontages with pine sides and those below have a matte stone grey finish, perfectly accented with those brushed brass handles.
The dining table opposite the kitchen continues the colour theme with a pine top and matt grey base.
In a classic layout style, the lounge is at the front of the Swift Bordeaux, with patio doors to open onto a decking area.
The three-seater sofa faces the TV area and electric fire. Above it is a distressed-look silver birch panel with a mirror and offset shelving.
Cupboards surround the electric fire so, as in the kitchen, storage provision is first rate.
Around the patio doors runs a burgundy frame. Nature-inspired leaf motif curtains with pale champagne tones look lovely.
In the centre of the room is a coffee table, stylish and functional, with two stools that fit neatly into its recesses on either side; a really clever design.
The rear half of the Bordeaux is devoted to the two bedrooms and two shower rooms.
The second bedroom is small, yet functional, with above-bed cupboards and shelves. The bed head wall has the same distressed silver birch panelling as the lounge and a burgundy crushed velvet-effect bedhead.
At the foot of the beds is a vanity mirror, plug sockets and the wardrobe.
The central shower room has everything that’s needed in a small space, without making it feel cramped. Fitted cupboards and storage behind the mirror and a surprisingly large shower complete the Bordeaux’s main facilities.
The master bedroom is a spacious, luxurious affair. Not only does it have a full-sized fitted wardrobe, bedside cupboards and shelves above the bed, but there’s also a large dressing table in the corner alcove, complete with four drawers and enough table space for this to be more of an office than a dressing room.
The rustic pine finish and the simple yet effective colour schemes really do make this a very nice room to be in!
The Bordeaux also has an en-suite shower room which, although laid out longitudinally, is about the same size as the central shower room, complete with large shower, washbasin and the obligatory toilet.

Verdict: With an excellent, practical layout and lots of fine finishing touches, the Swift Bordeaux will exceed your expectations for a holiday caravan. A great master bedroom and a splendid living space mean there’s nothing not to like!
Plus points: Excellent storage in the Bordeaux, very much a family-centric holiday home with the open-plan kitchen and lounge area. Some lovely styling notes as well.
Minus points: The second bedroom is not the largest you will find; space has been devoted to the master instead.
In a nutshell: The Swift Bordeaux ticks pretty much every box for a holiday caravan. The kitchen is brilliant with plenty of space, the lounge is inviting and stylish and the layout is a tried and tested version that’s loved by owners. It’s bright, it’s open and it comes spec’d to a high level.
