Victory’s latest mid-market Rimini static caravan comes complete with swish, all-white, gloss kitchen!
Victory is entering a new phase with a tighter team and new investments in production methods, which in turn will turn out a better constructed static caravan. They are working on an interior wall seamless finish which has seen light of day in their latest lodge and will be seen down the ranges.
The Rimini static caravan is the latest Victory range with three models. Oh, and that Rimini name is from the old Cosalt holiday home firm who after stopping Victory moved into the old Cosalt factory. So with the background covered, what does the Rimini of 2020 offer the would-be buyer?
Coming in below £40k this static caravan can also be ordered to residential specification. So, with prices from £36,592 to £41,706 the Rimini range offers those wanting that bit extra for not a lot of extra cash.
The exterior is a typical static caravan styling, with wood grain aluminium cladding and insulation to EN1647 standards. Single glazed windows, galvanised corner steadies and tow pole are also part of the Victory’s spec.
Front opening doors in the Victory Rimini let plenty of light into the lounge, which has two free standing armchairs, plus a three-seater settee with pull-out bed. An electric fire is fitted into the built-in side wall furniture.
There’s a large mirror over the fireplace but the TV (option) would in our opinion the better placed here as its position is rather low down in the cabinet.
Large side windows offer good natural light and ventilation while USB sockets are fitted with several mains ones.
The four-seater dining area is placed in the open plan lounge and has a practical laminate flooring design which runs through to the kitchen area.
It’s the kitchen area that most will love, it’s brimming with both storage and worktop and it’s finished in a gloss white and looks stunning! Oven and extractor are standard but an integral microwave and fridge freezer are optional. The Lifestyle pack option also adds central heating and double glazing.
The kitchen does have a dishwasher though and allows the chef plenty of room to prepare meals.
The Victory Rimini has two bedrooms. The twin room beds are 6ft 3” x 2ft 6” and a TV point is fitted, plus USB points for those essential devices!
There’s overhead storage, plus a wardrobe. It feels a little tight on floor area.
The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and good floor space with a double wardrobe and bedside cabinets, plus overbed shelves.
There’s also a dresser shelf area and of course the bedroom comes with an en-suite, which offers a full walk in shower, toilet and storage too. Plus, it’s large enough to use as a changing room if needed.
The main bathroom only has a toilet and hand basin, so users will need to go next door to shower!
We took a look inside the Victory Rimini at February’s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show. Here’s our walk-through video.
Verdict:
Victory quality and design wins again with the Rimini static caravan. It’s well fitted out with the latest design finishes, and we love that kitchen with its space and storage. The lounge also offers a relaxing area with the dining table neatly at one side.
Plus points: Cracking kitchen area with lots of storage, relaxing lounge area.
Minus points: Shower is in master bedroom’s en-suite and twin bedroom is not over large.
In a nutshell: The Rimini is a great holiday caravan from Victory. It’s well built, with great styling and specification. It ticks many boxes for potential buyers and is good value for money.
