The ABI Beaumont is a luxury caravan that will turn heads on parks
Launched for 2017 the ABI Beaumont was described as a luxury model with strong styling cues taken from the latest domestic sector. Over the years, this small range, (only two models for 2023), has become a popular choice in the upper price bracket of the ABI static caravan range.
For 2023 the ABI Beaumont static caravan continues to be a firm favourite as its designers have kept pace with changing needs and fashions. The exterior is in uPVC cladding, or as our review Beaumont, finished in optional CanExel cladding, plus a galvanised chassis is also standard. Front patio doors and full guttering and down pipes are all included along with double glazed windows.
Step inside the ABI Beaumont static caravan and you’ll see how the greys combine to make this a contemporary looking interior with a hint of blue in the soft furnishings.
Two large and comfortable twin seater settees are provided with a central electric fire and fireplace, with mirror above, though the mirror is quite small.
The ABI Beaumont’s dining area is placed centrally in the kitchen area, with four grey upholstered chairs which match the sofas.
The kitchen is L shaped and on the right of the entrance side entrance door. It’s a Shaker style design comes with plenty of cupboard storage and a large cooker with extractor hood and glass splashback. several mains sockets.
Although worktop in this area is limited, opposite is another section of storage, plus extra worktop space, with a microwave in its own wall unit, which for some may be a little high to use. There’s a useful large cupboard which has lots of shelving and racking and serves as a pantry.
Night illumination in the kitchen and lounge is well catered for with energy saving LED units.
The first bedroom is a twin and comes with adult sized beds which have above them good sized storage lockers. There’s a central small chest with a drawer and a small but useful dressing table has a wardrobe with large mirror and drawers.
The blue and grey theme continues into the bedrooms with blue upholstered headboards and floral and checked patterns in the curtains and bedding.
Opposite the twin room is a shower room and loo with hand basin and cupboard beneath. Its floor area is quite compact but it’s well planned and comes with useful shelf storage too.
At the back of the ABI Beaumont is the master bedroom, complete with a supersized bathroom en-suite area, with a walk-in rainfall shower, plus a separate bath and loo. Two large hand basins (his and hers) is also part of the suite and this is a super bathroom that we’re sure will woo potential buyers.
The master bedroom’s king-sized bed has storage beneath it and there are large wardrobes with drawers as well as a dressing table and also large overhead cupboards above the bed. It’s all very neat and carries on the rest of the Beaumont’s contemporary theme.
Verdict: Since its inception in 2017 the ABI Beaumont has evolved to become a stylish and attractive holiday caravan. The master bedroom and that end bathroom suite are real selling points. The lounge and dining area are well designed and though the worktop for some might be a little restricted, there’s plenty of cupboard storage.
Plus points: Large bathroom with shower and separate bath, master bedroom with king-sized bed. Well-placed mains sockets/USB points.
Minus points: Limited worktop space and the microwave is set a tad high for some users.
In a nutshell: The ABI Beaumont is a success and after six years this proves that buyers love the range. The interior has a nice colour co-ordinated feel and overall we think this model will continue to be a model on most buyers’ lists in 2023.
