The Glendale is a twin lodge that doesn’t fail to impress
The Pemberton Glendale holiday lodge is a great looking lodge with neat design details, like the angled windows above the French doors.
It will stand out from the crowd with its external grain effect cladding, either in aluminium or CanExel. With five models to choose from there’s plenty of choice. Here, we look at the 44ft x 22ft, three-bedroomed twin lodge and what a super unit it turned out to be!
The Pemberton Glendale’s front lounge is served by two front French doors allowing for natural light and ventilation.
One half of the lodge is the lounge, which has two large twin-seat sofas, plus two armchairs and a large upholstered footstool. A centrally placed fireplace is framed by two tables with drawer storage, as well as a fixings for a TV above.
The décor is modern, with a twist of traditional styling, and two side windows add to the airy and spacious feel of the lounge. It’s a lovely comfortable area you can relax in with friends and family.
The open-plan lounge is joined by the dining area which has an extendable dining table complete with six upholstered chairs. There’s also a large kitchen island with two plus barstools which look onto the L-shaped kitchen.
The Glendale’s kitchen has plenty of wall cupboard storage and worktop too, plus a large skylight makes sure lots of natural light can come flooding in.
There’s a microwave and large double oven and hob fitted, plus a large fridge with separate freezer. A dishwasher is also part of the specification, plus you’ll find a washing/dryer machine in the utility room, catering for all your needs.
From the kitchen/lounge area, a door leads through to the Glendale’s small side entrance door, where there’s a cushioned side seat with storage beneath for taking off muddy boots. There’s space to hand coats and more cupboard storage above.
From here you can access the utility room complete with sink and drainer and the washing machine with dryer. The grey and white colour scheme is very contemporary and a splash of colour can be added with your chosen accessories.
There are two bathrooms in the Pemberton Glendale holiday lodge, a communal one and an en-suite for the master bedroom.
The main one is opposite the twin bedroom and consists of a good-sized waterfall shower and a handbasin opposite, with storage underneath. The loo is next to the window.
It’s quite a long bathroom which has a corridor feel to it but it’s still spacious and practical. The décor is modern and it has an upmarket feel too.
Opposite, is the twin bedroom with two adult-sized beds and a double wardrobe, again finished in grey. It’s rather smart looking and is a great size for both children or adults – nobody will feel short-changed!
From the twin bedroom you can walk into the master bedroom where the grey theme continues, including the large headboards.
There’s a large dresser unit offering excellent drawer storage along with a large mirror and conveniently placed mains sockets. The room has two windows allowing plenty of natural light to enter.
A walk-in wardrobe offers oodles of storage with drawers, shelves and hanging space – there might even be more than most users would possibly need!
Through the walk-in wardrobe you come to the en-suite and it follows the same theme as the main bathroom. It is slightly smaller but the floor area doesn’t feel much less and it has the same sized shower cubicle too.
The third bedroom has a double bed and a dresser and is in same colour scheme as the master suite. It also has a double wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
Verdict: The Pemberton Glendale is an impressive and stylish holiday lodge. We liked the comfortable seating and relaxed atmosphere in the lounge, as well as the dining area with its extendable table for six.
Sleeping accommodation is certainly well catered for in the Pemberton Glendale holiday lodge with three good-sized bedrooms and superb storage.
A solid feel all the way through inspires you that it’s built with care and attention.
Plus points: Solid build quality feel throughout, good-sized bedrooms, well-planned kitchen and acres of storage.
Minus points: Main bathroom has narrower floor area, but little else to fault.
