2025 Atlas Avanti static caravan review

The sad news broke that Atlas Leisure Homes had gone into administration in early March 2025 and it’s a huge shame when you consider the number of great caravans they’ve produced over the years including one of their most recent models here – the 2025 Avanti 1. You’ll still find a number of these caravans in stock at dealerships and holiday parks, so we feel it remains worthy of a good look here.

The 2025 Avanti 1 was one of the caravans in the Atlas range specifically designed for affordability. So, before seeing it, you might expect something basic and maybe a bit small. But you’d be very wrong. The Avanti has everything you would expect from Atlas caravan and more.

This unit has two bedrooms, and by keeping it at two bedrooms, rather than offering an alternative layout with three, each and every room has space, storage and style aplenty.

The entrance door is on the side and leads you into the corridor/hallway between the accommodation rear end and the lounging and dining front end.

Turn to your left and you are in the Atlas Avanti kitchen diner, which is divided from the lounge by a half-height partition wall behind the dining table.

The kitchen is L-shaped, and despite it certainly not being the largest static caravan kitchen there is plenty of surface space. And the sink and drainer are amply large enough for washing-up ease.

The four-burner hob is backed by a smart glass splashback, and, as you’d expect, there’s an extractor fan above.

The cabinetry is finished in oak, with matt black metal handles, and there’s a surprisingly large amount of storage space. There’s a total of seven large cabinets and cupboards; more than enough space to store all of your kitchen apparel, food and anything else you care to throw into the cavernous array of cupboards.

Opposite the sink is the dining table with four chairs. The tabletop is of the same oak as the cabinetry, and the table legs and chairs are finished in a warm beige.

Next to the table is the half-height partition wall that divides the dining from the lounging and, betwixt the two, is a very stylish dresser with a double cupboard at the base. Rising out of the base are oak slats, onto which are hung two floating shelves. Yes, it’s a dresser with shelving, but it’s also super-stylish as well as functional.

Moving into the lounge, you’ll find a pair of two-seater sofas, again in a warm beige colour and finished in fabric that has a very sumptuous, brushed cotton feel. There’s a coastal influence in the décor, creating a real holiday vibe.

The two sofas are angled towards the large, double-opening patio doors (an option, fitted to our review model) and of course, the entertainment wall.

This features more of the slatted oak panels. It has two cupboards for storage and shelves, with sockets and HDMI cabling already fitted into the wall. You can be in tech heaven, and with no unsightly wires to be seen!

The lounge styling and practicality is completed by a footstool (an option, installed in our review unit) that opens to reveal yet more storage. There’s a feature lamp above, which is a large filament bulb, encased in a geometric cuboid of matt black metal. There are also two spotlights (which are more like soft flood lights) in the dining area.

Worth noting are the large windows in the Atlas Avanti, for example next to the dining area, which not only floods the kitchen with light, but also serves to keep the corridor area behind it well illuminated.

2025 Atlas Avanti static caravan shower room

The accommodation area starts with the shower room which, whilst you can access it from the corridor walkway, is also accessible from the adjacent master bedroom, making it an en-suite when desired, and a standard family shower room when not.

The shower runs the full width of the room, with a Velux roof light above, beaming light into the whole room.

Next to the shower is the basin; it’s a large oval one set into an oak-finished cabinet, with more of the stylish slats running up the wall behind. This supports the little shelf and huge, black-rimmed mirror. This isn’t a shower room with compromises, this is a top-notch ablution creation.

Next to the shower room, via the en-suite doorway or via the main corridor, is the master bedroom. The king-size bed is in the middle of the room with its marine blue headboard against the side wall of the Atlas Avanti.

More stylish oak slats frame the bed, above the bedhead and opposite, where you find the dressing table, complete with another huge circular mirror, a large drawer set underneath the table surface, and a stool, in the same marine blue as the headboard. There are shelves above the dressing table and also above the headboard, plus storage underneath the bed.

On either side of the bed are bedside tables, again in oak and with stylish matt black metal legs.

On the opposite side to the en-suite is the wardrobe, hidden behind two sliding mirror glazed doors, again framed in smart matt black.

This sort of wardrobe styling is usually found in the higher end of the holiday home price spectrum; clearly, in the Atlas Avanti, style comes as standard.

2025 Atlas Avanti static caravan twin bedroom

At the back of the Atlas Avanti static caravan is the twin bedroom, but with a slight twist, or a flip, if you will. The two single beds do run parallel to each other – but the headboards are at opposite ends.

This is made possible by the wardrobe being at the foot of one of the beds, next to the en-suite, and the other bedhead being against this wall, creating the walkway into and around the beds.

The headboards are in the same style as the master bedroom, complete with oak slats and shelf; just a smaller version.

The en-suite for the twin bedroom is a small but perfectly adequate washroom, with toilet, basin and mirrored storage unit above.

Plus points: Fittings and finishes that you might not expect on this level of holiday caravan. Large hallway connecting lounging and sleeping areas

Minus points: Although the rooms and hallway are large, the internal doors are of a smaller width. Whilst this makes the layout possible on a 39ft by 12ft platform, it also means holiday home reviewers with builds like a rugby player have to turn their shoulders to enter and exit rooms!

In a nutshell: With a unique-layout second bedroom and a shower room with two entrances, the new-for-2025 Atlas Avanti static caravan has lots of practical aspects – and a coastal-inspired décor

Verdict: The new Atlas Avanti’s part-wall between the lounge and the dining area gives both rooms a separate feel; the kitchen has plenty of surface and storage space – and the main bedroom has a luxury ambience. Add in the superb practicality of two entrances to the shower room, and a second bedroom with beds at each end, rather than parallel, and you quickly realise the Avanti 1 has a lot going for it.
