Stepping into the Victory Liberte through the patio doors, you are straight into one of this lodge’s key areas.
It’s a dining area with ample seating for at least seven people, on L-shaped fixed seating plus two cube stools. It sets the tone for the family ethos that’s behind the new-for-2025 holiday lodge.
Next, we explore the kitchen, and find that this, too, oozes family appeal, with plenty of surface space, in three areas. Two of them are corner positions, and that means two – or even three – can work in this kitchen at once. Even the washing-up station is in a sociable position, overlooking the dining table. Conversation would be easy here.
And if washing-up isn’t top of your holiday activities list, it’s good to know that the optional extras include a dishwasher. A wine cooler is on that list, too.
The oven and microwave are arranged tower style alongside the fridge-freezer. Lots of storage space is an important feature of Victory Liberte holiday lodge kitchen. There’s a large cabinet under the oven and a cabinet above the microwave. Two double-doored wall cabinets plus a single-door cabinet, and five lower cabinets, plus three drawers, complete the good storage story. And above the fridge-freezer are four recesses for wine bottles.
The lounge is impressively spacious in terms of floorspace and also in terms of seating; there’s a four seater sofa, a three seater, plus an armchair (that’s an optional extra that was in place in our review example), all facing the large television unit that gives you three cabinets as well as enough space to put the biggest of televisions.
Grey is the predominant colour inside the 2025 Victory Liberte holiday lodge; smart and modern, and teamed with pale cabinetry. Cushions adhere to the plain colour theme; the two on the larger sofa are green, the four in the dining area are navy blue, and the two on the smaller sofa have bold grey and white stripes.
The curtains follow the grey theme, this time with a minute pattern composed of tiny grey lines on a white background. In the centre is a square coffee table standing on black hairpin legs; again, simple in style and very modern.
We progress towards the centre of the Liberte lodge and discover the side hallway. Again, we find spaciousness, and a boot seat with a drawer under it and three shelves above, plus a surprise: a wardrobe/cupboard, with three coat hooks and ample space for an upright vacuum cleaner and a socket to charge it, too. On the other side of the boot seat are two further hideaways. One contains the central heating boiler, with space in front of it for storage. The other contains three shelves with a huge space beneath. Wherever we look in the Victory Liberte, it seems, we find space.
Next on our tour is the second bedroom. And, here again, there’s massive storage space in the form of two wardrobes, one containing two drawers and the other shelves.
And there’s another surprise. Even though this is the second bedroom, it has a shower room en-suite. There’s a rainfall and directional rose, in smart black, plus black framing for the shower unit.
The colour palette switches to sage green for both of the bedrooms, for the panelled bedhead wall and the curtains. The main bedroom has a wardrobe and a recess containing a dressing table.
You walk through this area to the bath en-suite, with an over-bath shower. And there’s yet another surprise: the bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway.
And bedside lights in this room are quite fantastic in their simplicity and style. They are composed of black metal circles that have a spiral filament bulb set at an angle within the circle; so eye-catching.
Verdict: Space in all areas, especially the lounge and dining area, and en-suites to both bedrooms make the new Victory Liberte a brilliant family lodge. Its plain styling will endear it to buyers who love simplicity. Yet there’s also a feeling of luxury about the Liberte, and that’s largely down to the amount of space. Victory’s latest invention ticks a lot of buyer-desire boxes. We love it.
Plus points: Both bedrooms have en-suites. The kitchen has first-rate storage and lots of surface. The dining suite seats at least seven
