The Victory Bower has the essence of family holidays written through it like the lettering in a stick of rock. From your first step inside through the patio doors that lead into the lounge, you know that the 12ft-wide Bower static caravan has at its heart both practicality and modern styling that is sure to appeal to the growing demographic of young families for whom buying a holiday caravan is becoming a priority. Staycationing is surely here to stay, and the Victory Bower has been created to cater for it.
In this video, we take a look inside the 2023 Victory Bower holiday caravan:
The L-shaped settee is upholstered in wipe-clean leather-effect fabric; very practical. And the flooring is also easy to wipe, sweep, and clean. Opposite the settee is an innovatively designed cabinet, television area, and log-effect fire. The four drawers at the base of the unit are white.
The next layer of three drawers is offset, and finished in a light wood-effect, as is the cabinet above the fire. The natural position for a television is integrated into the cabinet design; clever!
Moving on to the Victory Bower’s dining area and its design has a nicely crisp, modern feel. And a simple but slightly industrial design to the furniture: ‘hairpin-style legs’ (three black metal verticals that converge at floor level) are used for the table and for the upholstery-topped bench seat.
The Bower’s L-shaped kitchen integrates nicely with the lounge and dining area, yet, although this is most definitely an open-plan layout, the large amount of floor space makes sure that each side of the three living space elements can coexist in family harmony. Impressive!
We also liked the size of the five-burner hob, with cast iron pan stands and a central burner big enough for the largest of woks.
Beneath is a large oven grill and, above, and to the right of the hob, is the microwave, with a four-bottle wine rack above it.
An extractor fan is disguised into the top cabinets. And a dishwasher or a washing machine are available as an optional extra.
Two cabinets and three drawers provide lower storage, and there’s an extra cabinet for buyers who don’t opt for the dishwasher or washing machine. Two upper cabinets offer plenty of space.
On one end of the kitchen is the fridge-freezer, with a built-in wine shelf. On the other end of the kitchen is the heating boiler, with space below it.
The corridor leading to the bedrooms offers you a second entrance and, opposite, is a coats and shoes cabinet, with shelves for footwear and space alongside it for a tall vacuum cleaner and a long-handled floor brush.
Now for one of the Victory Bower’s standout layout features: The twin room (with 3ft-wide, domestic width beds) has an en-suite bathroom with an over-bath shower. A door leads into it from the bedroom; there’s a second door leading in from the corridor. A tall towel warmer in chrome and a smart grey wallcovering for the bath-shower area are among notable features here.
The last door along the corridor leads to the main bedroom, with an en-suite shower that has identical styling to the bathroom.
A large wardrobe and tall, three-drawer chest offers plenty of storage provision. A tall smartly black-framed mirror enhances the spacious feel about this bedroom. Above the bed is a double row of cabinets, one set slightly forward of the other, one white and the other natural wood finish, mirroring the cabinet styling of the lounge, all handleless and thoroughly modern in design.
The Victory Bower is also available as a 41ft x 12ft three-bedroomed holiday caravan.
Verdict: Perfectly aligned for the increasing family holiday caravan market, the Victory Bower oozes modern styling with its straightforwardly appealing design elements. We love the en-suite bathroom to the twin bedroom. That’s so practical.
We also love the amount of surface space in the kitchen, its white sink with integrated grooved drainer, white splashback surround, and the huge five-burner hob.
A dedicated place for shoes and coats close to the side door is another super-practical touch.
Plus points: The en-suite to the twin bedroom. The five-burner hob. A place for shoes close to the door. Generous floor space in living area
Minus points: Central heating comes as an extra
