Willerby has launched some cracking models for 2025 and the Malton Elite is one of them!
Willerby hasn’t rested on its laurels for 2025 with its new models. The company has been actively developing innovative designs for newcomers into the world of static caravan ownership.
The Willerby Malton Elite is from the Malton range – it’s 12 ft wide and comes in 35ft and 37ft lengths. The Elite version, however, adds extra length as well as stretching to 14ft in width.
Classed as a starter caravan the Malton Elite doesn’t feel that way at all and now in its 14ft width, it has that extra space and practicality.
Externally, the Willerby Malton Elite is an attractive static caravan, with a galvanised chassis as standard, along with double glazing. Patio doors are an option.
Built to Willerby’s Green Standard, it has better insulation so less energy is needed to keep the Malton warm. Thicker walls and upgraded double glazing also help keep holiday caravan running costs down.
The exterior panels are aluminium and there’s a choice of finishes and colours. All guttering and down pipes are fitted as is an external doorway light.
The extra width hits you as you enter the new Willerby Malton Elite and makes a big difference.
The front lounge feels very spacious and features two light-coloured settees – a three-seater and a two-seater at right angles to each other.
A large side cabinet in neutral colours provides storage and a place to put a TV. In keeping with Willerby’s current standard approach, no electric fire is included.
The dining area is behind the lounge and is combined with the kitchen, offering seating for up to six around a dark oak coloured table.
The L-shaped kitchen has ample upper and lower cupboards finished in a dark blue under the counter and cream above. With a durable dark coloured wood effect flooring.
A chef’s delight, the kitchen boasts a 70/30 fridge freezer, gas oven and hob, with extractor fan, and a built-in microwave. A dishwasher is an optional extra.
The sleeping accommodation has three bedrooms – two twin rooms and a master suite at the back.
The first twin bedroom is a good size and ideal for two adults, with a wardrobe and central chest of drawers between the beds. Pastel pink is the colour scheme here with jazzy spotted curtains and cushions.
Opposite is the main bathroom which has a shower cubicle with sliding doors. It’s a good size and uses the same pink hues of the twin bedrooms.
The next twin bedroom is more suitable for children – it’s a lot smaller and also features a small wardrobe and central chest between the beds.
The master bedroom has a king-sized double bed that lifts up for extra storage; it has two bedside cabinets and there’s a small dressing table with a large mirror by the window.
A three doored wardrobe provides ample hanging space and storage.
The en-suite is well equipped with a shower cubicle, toilet, handbasin, ladder radiator and open shelving.
Verdict: The Willerby Malton Elite is as an impressive addition to the standard 12ft Malton holiday caravan lineup. For those with a pitch which can accommodate a 14ft wide model, this new offering merits serious consideration.
We were impressed by the build quality and craftsmanship throughout, while the thoughtfully selected colour schemes should satisfy most potential buyers.
Though marketed as an entry-level holiday caravan, the designers have created a product that feels distinctly mid-market in its finish. Comfortably sleeping six, with the option to accommodate two extra guests using the lounge’s fold-out settee, the Willerby Malton Elite delivers versatility too!
Plus points: Feels spacious, large dining table for six, good night illumination, plenty of storage.
Minus points: No electric fire, front patio doors not standard, little else.
In a nutshell: A typically well-designed Willerby holiday caravan, the Malton was a nice unit but with extra length and width the Elite will appeal to more buyers wanting great value.
