The Regal Symphony lodge is the progeny of the award winning Symphony static caravan but with enhanced thermal efficiency.
In the open plan living/kitchen area I was struck by the bold use of colour in the full length curtains; wide horizontal stripes of grey, silver and charcoal. The sofa and chairs had rounded armrests which softened the look and there were masses of coordinating scatter cushions. The large “snuggler” swivel chair is very modern yet very comfortable. Rounded corners also featured on the TV unit which had space for CDs.
Two strategically placed skylights flood the kitchen and dining area with natural light which reflects off the cream high gloss finish to the kitchen cupboards. It was a well specified kitchen with a fridge freezer, 12 place dishwasher, five burner gas hob, double gas oven, microwave as standard and a separate wine cooler set in a curved door cabinet, bringing the style from the living area into the kitchen.
The popup plug socket, complete with USB charging points, is also a very nice feature in the well equipped kitchen.
The master bedroom is comparable to a stylish hotel room with good use of space. Full height windows maximise the natural light and voiles hang at the window behind the plush curtains. Furniture is the same high gloss cream as in the kitchen. Over bed lights were individually switched so you can switch off and nod off whilst your partner is embedded in a book enjoying the comfort of the padded headboard.
A shower is fitted as standard in the en-suite, but a bath is an option.
The second bedroom has its own splendour and accommodates two 2ft 6ins single beds each with padded headboards, over bed storage cupboards and a fixed bedside table.
The second shower room, not en-suite to the second bedroom, has a quadrant style shower tray which does make good use of the space and the huge mirror with down lighters makes the room seem large.
The Regal Symphony lodge also has some impressive ‘Green’ credentials including: Fridge Freezer A+ rated, Dishwasher A rated, Morco boiler “C” rated (82-86% efficient) (This is a holiday home industry standard and complies with the government guidelines for holiday use), A+ rated foil facing Celotex wall cavity, Thermally efficient 90mm Structural Insulated Panel flooring and Canexel exterior cladding. Note that “A” rated appliances achieve the highest possible efficiency in terms of energy use and water conservation.
Verdict
It’s one of the most eco-friendly holiday homes on the market with impressive insulation properties and a 4 year full warranty. It has an unashamedly upmarket ambience. A three bedroom version is available too in the same body shell.

I am amazed that even though you are paying £68k and despite all it’s so called green credentials they can only afford to put in a C rated boiler, whilst all permenant structures have to have an A rated boiler. I have a Willerby Salisbury, half the price of the Regal but at least it has a Worcester Bosch Junior A rated boiler, by the best manufacturer of boilers.
Fabulous mobile home but has some issues.
Radiator behind couch in living area is poor use of the rad.
Living area is draughty in windy conditions.
There is not enough worktop space in the kitchen.
Outside lights rusting after 1 year is not good.
Some internal doors warped and had to be changed.
Otherwise a great mobile.
