In last month’s, community poll we turned our attention to your furry friends or non-furry friends and asked holiday caravan owners if they take pets on holiday.
Pets on static caravan holidays
Not surprisingly, a huge 89% of those who voted told us that you take your dog (or dogs) away with you.
Seventy percent of voters said they take one dog, but 15 percent said they take two dogs, and one owner said all their dogs love going to the holiday caravan park – two East German Shepherds and a French bulldog!
One voter added that they take two dogs and occasionally their horse!
Cats came second in the survey with just five percent of the vote.
Then smaller pets – rabbits/guinea pigs, turtles/tortoises, and gerbils/hamsters/mice each received a one percent share of the votes.
One holidaymaker even added a cow to the voting list!
It’s clear from the voting results that we’re fast becoming a nation of pet lovers and that dogs and other pets are an important part of the time spent relaxing and holidaying in your static caravans and lodges. And why not!
Let us know what you make of the results in the comments box below and if you’re one of the many pet owners see our guide to making your static caravan pet friendly.
It’s a shame dogs aren’t allowed in part of the club house as we don’t leave our dog in the caravan alone we miss out on the entrainment. It’s not fair to leave any animals in the caravan.
