POLL NOW CLOSED – Thanks to everyone who voted
When choosing your holiday park, one of the things to consider is the facilities on offer, and what kind of break you want to enjoy.
Some static caravan or lodge owners will want to stay at a quiet park for relaxing and unwinding, whilst others might a host of facilities to keep them and the family entertained, complete with a clubhouse, play area, bar and restaurant etc.
In this month’s community poll, we’d like to know if your holiday park has on-site, night-time entertainment. Feel free to use the comments box to share the different facilities on offer at your park.
We’ll report back the results in May.
We like peace and quiet when we go to our caravan. There is a bar that is open at weekends. We occasionally use it as it is available.
Our park has plenty of entertainment and we use it selectively. It’s quite good but the audience spoils it with unruly, unsupervised kids running in front of the stage and throwing food around. Families and groups seem to ignore the performance entirely and shout over the top of it. However in quieter months it can be great as there are some first class acts. I do like it that there is the option.
Our park doesn’t have entertainment and that’s what we like about it. If they ever decide to introduce a bar or on-site entertainment we would seriously consider selling up and moving somewhere else.
For us the whole point of getting away In our van is to relax meaning peace and quiet. Coffee shop or bistro would be okay but definitely no entertainment.
My park has a small shop and cafe, they do take away or eat in meals 4/5 evenings a week. It’s a quiet friendly site with lovely views and not far from the beaches. It’s like another world with a comfortable Willerby caravan with all mod cons.
Sounds great Sue.
We picked our Caravan Park because it didn’t have any entertainment on site. It has a swimming pool and laundry and stunning views. The peace and tranquility are wonderful.
We have young grandchildren, both under 4, so we picked a caravan site that suits us all. It has a small outside heated pool, some entertainment, bar with meals at certain times, a lovely Sunday carvery, a mile from the beach, nice walks from the site for walking our dog. Had our caravan a year now and very happy.
