From rattan furniture, to sofas and plastic tables and chairs – there’s certainly plenty of choice when it comes to outdoor furniture for your holiday caravan.
In last month’s community poll, we asked owners what kind of furniture they used outside to relax, eat and entertain.
The results are in…
After more than 200 votes, a good old set of table and chairs topped the polls with 30 percent of the votes.
And taking second place was rattan furniture, known for its hard-wearing properties and good looks!
Folding chairs took third place – probably because they’re easy to store when you’re away from your caravan.
In fourth place, with 11 percent of the votes were sun loungers – a great way to relax and enjoy the great British summer!
A sofa or corner seating made the top five, and a small bistro table for two took the sixth spot.
Benches came in at number seven, followed closely by outdoor umbrellas at eight – perfect for some shade or to shelter from light rain.
Surprisingly, in ninth place with just two per cent of the votes was a storage bench, and scraping into the top 10 were plastic resin chairs – cheap and cheerful and easy to stack on top of each other.
Your outdoor furniture comments
Peter Thornton said they’d found that rattan furniture was hard wearing, comfortable and looked really nice in their outdoor setting.
“And our bistro table is nice to sit out on a morning with our coffee and enjoy the wildlife,” he added.
Teresa Thaxter said she loved being outside at her caravan.
